About us

Active Carriers was founded in 1990 by two brothers, Mark and Paul Adams, starting from scratch. We are still the same company, with strong family values and strong local contacts, just with more vehicles, more expertise and a wider capability.

Active Carriers joined the other original freight companies who made up Palletways in 1994. Palletways has grown too, to become the leading European Palletised Freight network, which means that through Active Carriers, you have not only the assurance of our own fleet of vehicles, but the support of over 400 Palletways network member depots across Europe.

Active Carriers moved to our purpose-designed premises in Tipton, West Midlands almost 20 years ago, offering general haulage and specialising in palletised freight.

We work for over 200 customers across the West Midlands, and this number is ever growing – through referrals and good service. We look forward to working with you.
